Dimensions and tolerances
ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe produces special structural steels both as four-high mill plates and, via the hot strip mill, as cut-to-length plates.

One specialty of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe is quenched and tempered cut-to-length plate, which has narrower thickness tolerances than four-high mill plate and therefore offers significant advantages in the production of weight-optimized structures. As well as weight reduction, there are also advantages in cold forming.
