Hot strip cut-to-length lines
The hot rolled coils produced on the three hot strip mills of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe are processed into cut-to-length plates on the Duisburg-Süd and Bochum hot strip cut-to-length lines.
Both lines have been modernized in recent years, with investments including a new cut-to-length shear in Duisburg-Süd and a strip pre-leveler in Bochum.
